My Standard Firing Schedules

Bisque

I do a very short candling in my bisque cycle because my greenware is always 100% bone dry. If you need a longer candling time, you will need to reach out to me directly.

Glaze

All of my glaze firing schedules include a moderate ramp, a 10-30 minute hold at the peak for maturing, and a slow cool to prevent pinholes. Wednesday’s glaze firing will always be at ∆6, but I have tested ∆5 and ∆5.5 in my kiln at the following schedules. I am happy to do any of these 3 schedules at any time if you don’t want to define your own firing schedule.
